Brief Biographical Sketch:

She's been doing improv since grade school, performed improv throughout high school, and has taught improv on so many previous occasions it's hard to count. She's also been in over 15 theatrical performances, sings way too much, and eats ten pounds of applesauce every day. She just made up that last part, because IMPROV. While she may study the sciences now--and is happy to answer any questions regarding the sciences--she's always loved performing, and wants others to love it, too.

Improv 101 in Splash Spring 2018
Are you interested in acting? Do you love watching SNL or Whose Line is It Anyway and wonder how they do it? Do you have a general love of being silly and spontaneous? If you've said yes to any of the above, then Improv is for you! Learn some improv games, have fun with some new people, and take a step out of your comfort zone for an hour. We'll start with easy games to warm up with each other, and then work our way up to games that require some more weirdness and fewer inhibitions.

Sexciting Sex Ed in Splash Spring 2018
"The Talk" for most of us was awkward, incomplete, and maybe more than just a bit inaccurate. For all those with residual questions and curiosities, or those hoping to get a more accurate and less judgmental version of the talk the second time around, we're here to help! We plan to talk honestly and openly about pleasure anatomy, consent, sexuality and gender, the correct way to protect yourself from STDs and pregnancy (if applicable), and anything else you're curious about. We also plan to direct you toward resources you can use to continue educating yourself so you can have safe, healthy, enjoyable sex.

Learn the rules of improv, a bunch of cool improv games, and basically just spend some time being creative in a casual, pressure-free environment. Not to mention that experience with improv can improve your public speaking skills, make you better in interviews, and generally make you a fast thinker. What's not to love?
