A192: Mathematics of Origami in Splash Spring 2017 (Feb. 25, 2017)
Origami is an ancient Japanese art that actually relies quite heavily on math and problem solving. This is especially true for a modern subset of origami called Modular Origami. In the class, student will learn about various aspects of origami from its types and origins, to folding fortune tellers, to folding and assembling basic modular origami, to using math to alter designs.
