Brief Biographical Sketch:

Tom Erb is the National Field Organizer for the Put A Price On It Campaign and is based out of Claremont, CA. He is a senior at Pomona College and studies Public Policy Analysis and Politics. Prior to joining the campaign, Erb was a climate intern for United States Senator Brian Schatz, a communications intern for Congressman Eric Swalwell, and a district intern for Congressman Scott Peters. Recently, he was the Youth Spokesman for the World Bank Carbon Pricing Leadership Coalition's High Level Assesmbly and a character in Years of Living Dangerously on National Geographic. This class will help you improve your public speaking skills, discover your own personal story, and dive into the world of activism. If you are interested in making a change in the world, but are not sure where to start, this is the class for you. We will even do a mock meeting with a politician to practice your new skills.
